5-Star Review Templates for Cafés, Salons, and Clinics
Most customers who intend to leave a review never do, for one simple reason: staring at a blank text box is harder than it sounds. Giving them a starting point they can tweak — instead of writing from scratch — dramatically increases how many actually finish and post.
These are meant as starting drafts, not scripts to copy word-for-word — encourage customers to make it their own so reviews don't read identically across your listing (Google can flag near-duplicate reviews as inauthentic).
For cafés and restaurants
"Really enjoyed my visit to [Business Name] — the [specific dish/drink] was great and the staff were friendly. Will definitely be back."
"Great little spot for [coffee/breakfast/lunch]. Quick service, comfortable seating, and the [specific item] stood out. Recommended."
For salons and spas
"Had a [haircut/facial/treatment] at [Business Name] and couldn't be happier. [Stylist/therapist name] really listened to what I wanted."
"Clean, professional, and the results speak for themselves. Booking again with [stylist/therapist name]."
For clinics and healthcare
"Dr. [Name] took the time to explain everything clearly and didn't rush the appointment. Reception staff were also helpful with scheduling."
"Comfortable, clean clinic with minimal wait time. Appreciated how thorough the consultation was."
How to actually use these
- Don't hand a customer the exact same template every time — rotate a few, or let a tool draft something unique per visit based on their star rating.
- Encourage a specific detail (a dish name, a staff member) — specific reviews rank better in local search and read as more genuine to future customers.
- Never tell a customer what rating to give — only what a review could mention.
This is also exactly the gap an AI-assisted review flow closes: instead of a generic template, a tool can draft a first-person review matched to the star rating the customer actually picked, so it reads naturally instead of like a copy-paste job. That's the core of how Quick Card's review flow works.
